A COUNTRY FOR MEN – Do we even need to elaborate on that?!

We have read all sorts of books – Fiction to Non-Fiction, Harry Potter to Mein Kampf. BUT! We have never ever come across a book like this one.

It’s a non-fiction which will hit you squarely on your face. So why are we raving so much about this book? What exactly has the writer “written”?

There isn’t a story exactly nor a real life first person narrative of incidents commonly seen in a non-fiction.

The writer  has  done a rather exemplar research and presented all the facts in a manner which would make you want to hit yourself for putting up with a lot of things – Like that deaf act when a woman is teased, like listening to the outrageously idiotic people who suggest women should call rapists “brothers” while she is being raped.

The book is simply an insider’s account of brutal incidents of crime against this book.

Why should you read this book? Isn’t reading those news papers filled with many such incidents and watching those News channels who tirelessly repeat the same news enough?

You should read this book because of this particular line in the book :

“Well I could be lying here, creating sensation with my words in order to make you read this book. But all you have to do is to go on Google.com and find it out yourself whether or not I’m exaggerating the condition”

Its heart warming to see that at least one Indian male can stand up, make a bold attempt in putting all the facts and follow up stories together and get people to pause and think.
